Here’s my 3 new friends…

finally…. at last…. i have finished up these ATCs…. been hanging on for awhile after drawing… just don’t have the inspiration to paint them… waited and waited till today… i am so happy with the result… hehehe… just feel so bad for my blind swap partner to wait so so so long for my creations… and i already got her cards!… sorry!… and thank you for being so patient with me without chasing after me… : )

I painted these with acrylic paint… stamped the background and did some rub-on for the card too… and of cos won’t forget my favourite… glimmermist!…. hope you like them!

inspired sunday girl…

here’s another of my girl for this weekend journal entry… i layered many layers of paint… using paintbrush and card… and i stamp with my new flower stamp… and of course with my favourite text stamp… using charcoal to highlight the features… hmmm… now back to my next girl journal entry to end my sunday today… got to go back to work tomorrow… arrrghhhh plus… yeaaaaah…. hehehe

Beautiful day started with my art journal….

I have achieved so much today. Another best and beautiful off day at my artful playground. Here is my mixed media girl again after so so so long. Hehehe… I thought I forgot all the techniques to draw the girls again. I did it! Beautiful she right? I used acrylic paints, patterned papers for some hearts, glitter and stamping on this page.

I have recently signed up online class “A prompt a Day” by Kelly Kilmer. I have come up with 2 pages of art journal with her guidance in her class. So fun! Just paint with acrylic paints, compose the pages with vintage cut-outs, patterned papers, glitter and journal around the pages. I simply love them.

I have a buddy at last to paint and do art journal together! Our meetings at the botanical garden were great! I have achieved quite a few pages of art journal during our painting sessions together. Here are a couple that I have touched up today after so long. Well…busy busy again. The first art journal below : I added my favourite tissue paper technique, paint with acrylic paints and watercolour, old dictionary text paper and vintage clipart were later pasted on the page. The second art journal : just acrylic paint and old dictionary text paper.

Draw, draw, draw! Blend, blend, blend!

This is what I have learned from Suzi Blu. At last I have joined her online Les Petit Dolls class. ‘No regrets’ is what all I can say! I should have joined earlier and not waste so much time! I was so inspired by her videos and arts. Really having fun with her class. Just can’t wait to go home everyday and start my draw draw draw and blend blend blend!

Here’s all my practices so far every night till 3 am. Well I have not blend them though…still frightened to do shading…. Can you guess who is my favorite here?
