Hoohoo… at last… i can shout out… i have tried my best and it seemed good to me over what i have tried to do with the children for the past three months… i am still trying hard… really am… hahaha… so now it’s the time to sing sing sing… and play play play… did this ATC in a real happy mood… fast and easy… masking tapes… collages… glimmermist… my usual usual can’t do without play items… back to more fun in my art now… promise will show ya’ sooooooon….. have a great sunday!

Yes! It’s weekend again! Been busy with school work lately and didn’t really update my little playground here often… here’s 4 ATCs i swapped out weeks ago and didn’t get a chance to post them up here… love the swap theme… postage: at least one postage stamp on the ATC… love the theme… been playing with my sewing machine lately… i machine sew up all the ATCs… love the effects… stamping… painting… glimmermist… inking… collage… as usual… hmmm… xmas season is here… going to make some xmas stuff… inspire… idea… theme… whoohoo
After a week of stress at work… at last i have the time to put up these cards here… counting crows… AFA theme for the swap i did last few weeks… all we need to do is to add at least a crow and a number on our cards… fun swap… i use alot of masking tape and patterned papers as my base… then cut out all my lovely images collected for this swap…. then i stamp stamp stamp to fill up some of my space… of cos… not forgetting my ink ink ink… just don’t feel good when i don’t dirty my hands with paint or ink… hehehe… okay… that’s for all… a bit too tired after taking my pills pills pills… don’t really like to be sick…
here we go! my 4 ATCs on the theme of travel were swapped out… love travel so can’t resist this theme… have fun looking at cute little cut-outs…techniques i used basically are stamping, cutting out all the images, using the patterned masking tapes and Tim Holtz pattern papers…lastly inked all edges… now got to go zzzz…tired out from the D&D… seeya soon with my new creations!

here’s another ATC i would like to share… it has been swapped out to an artist in AFA… love all the images… can’t resist the roses… so make this ATC to a vintage chic look… so girly! hehehe…. so happy today! at last my efforts are paid off… didn’t make the wrong choice so far… hope i will not change my mind for quite sometime… be positive!
hey hey! it’s weekend again! hoohoo… back to my art therapy again… been so stressful these few days… so good to touch my paint and ink to relax… going to make more more more art! … i am so deprive of art this week… hahaha… did this ATC for swap… patterned paper as base… cut out lovely images… highlight with more masking tape… and then rub-on the postage stamp… so quick and easy!
Love long weekend! Slept almost whole day on Friday! Spend time on my art today and did some experiments on some kid’s arts for my children to play these few weeks… so fun and funny… will post the childish work of mine once it’s done… did alot of ATCs today…. but I’m going to share this with you first… this will be added to my own personal collection…
what i did to this ATC:
1) Glimmer mist the background with 2 colors (love glimmer mist!) …
2) Stamp the ‘Rose’ from Unity stamp company, “life becoming” by Melody Ross…with 2 distressed ink color and brown versafine ink… (love the new release Unity stamp by Melody Ross!)
3) Tear the storybook paper and cut out all the images for collage (can never go without this)…
4) Ink and glue down all the elements (inking is a must must for my work)…
5) I apply the glimmer glaze on the collage to make it more shimmery look (can’t stop using the glaze!)…
6) I distressed the edges of the ATC with glimmer glam, distressed ink (can’t imagine if i don’t have all these)…
7) Lasted I stamped the text randomly on the ATC (to fill up the empty spaces fast and without thinking what else to add)…
it’s that simple!
another ATC for swap! hehehe… this is the life i’m leading to now… happily working with the children… happily doing my art… happily go window shopping during weekend… happily going for evening classes… happily going tea with friends… so many happily happenings since then… this happily made ATC is plainly collage and inking… hope the artist who receive it will be happy too….
