Here’s my first altered art this year… my watch!… it has been with me for 10 years!… time to get it a new look to start this brand new year…so i took out all my stash-tissue papers from 7Gypsies, brads of different kinds, gems of different kinds too… glued them all with Liquitex Matt Gel…as usual my favourite! and tada! here’s my brand new watch…heee…have fun altering !!!
here’s another organiser altered as a gift… painted the background with white gesso… decorated with storybook papers, tissue papers and rub-ons… coated with matt gel to seal everything… and that’s all… have fun!
Whoohoo… Year 2012 is getting nearer and nearer each day… and here’s the year 2012 organiser’s cover that I have altered as a gift… tissue paper used from 7gypsies… patterned papers, nice flower cut-outs from tissue paper… rub-ons… nice tissue tape… misting, white wash, matt gel… were all what I have used to alter this organiser… have fun altering your project!
another mini suitcase i have altered since the last… today really enjoying my art therapy after so much stress… i covered the suitcase with tissue papers and storybook papers to start with… then i white-washed with gesso and started to glimmermist it using the tree stencil to create the background… i applied the rub-ons… stamped the bicycle… pasted down the fence… and there you go! another art journal piece on a mini suitcase… yay!! it’s really the best day ever when doing my art…heee…
It has been awhile since I have made a birthday gift for a friend… heee… still playing with paint, mists, gel medium and stamping here…
What I did to this photo frame:
1) Choose a frame
2) Cover the frame with crumpled tissue paper
3) Paint with white gesso
4) Spray glimmermist onto the tissue texture
5) Cover the frame with favourite patterned paper
6) White wash with white gesso
7) Covered with another layer of patterned tissue paper
8) Stamp stamp stamp with stamps
9) Embellish the frame with prima flowers, patterned papers, hambly’s transparency, ribbon and text
10) and done!
it’s time to alter my iphone already! heeee….

Heyo! I had fun in the Graphic45 Vintage Inspiration event with everyone yesterday… here’s a little project made just for this special event to dress up to the given theme… a little head wear! I used black glitter cardstock to make the little hat and embellished with some embellishments like chipboard buttons, cardstock diecut from Graphic45, brads, nettings, ribbon and butterfly punch-outs from Martha Stewart punch. Hope this will inspire you to make one today!
Another week has past and here’s a BIG project I did for the store… using mostly the Graphic45 patterned papers… incorporating some of the Graphic45 stars done by the Creative team designers… crepe papers for the curtains… black cardstock to cut the silhouettes of people (so impressed to have drawn them freehand)… covered
the board, fold the fans, cut out the images using Graphic45 patterned papers… added some embellishments… and that’s all and that easy… heeeee….
another week has passed… time flies… in new job for almost half a month… hehehe… enjoyed meeting old friends again… “i’m back! graduated from preschool!” is what i have repeated for the passed weeks… hehehee… here’s a little project i have done within 30 minutes… my wearable artpiece… I dug out all the metal and plastic pieces of embellishments for this butterfly pendant…embellishments from prima, 7gypsies, MME, Glitz…plus ribbons and beads… glued them down using glossy accent… and that’s it! i am ready to wear it out! okie… i got to prepare to work now… seeya!
been wanting to do this for long!!…hehehe… nice camera touch up for less than 30 minutes! … so proud to bring it around soon!… Here’s my little inspiration for the day… altered my camera!… materials used: 7Gypsies tape, any images you love, little text for journalling and little blings for a little touch up…of cos my Liquitex gel medium to glue and sealer for the cover… hmmm… next thing to alter… my phone! hehehee…
